About the role:

Reporting line:
Reporting hierarchically and operationally to the Head of Estimating Department.
An additional operational reporting line in the event of a project environment.
Key interactions:
Internal: Business unit, proposal, engineering, process, construction, procurement, management.
External: Contractor partners, customers, T. EN operational centres for assistance.
You will be responsible for constructing and validating prices for Onshore and Offshore projects during major calls for tender or front-end studies for Paris-based activities, reporting to the Head of the Estimating Department.
Your duties and responsibilities:
Identify appropriate estimation methods in relation to the scope of work.Â
Manage a team of estimating engineers on a day-to-day basis, coordinate interfaces with the heads of the technical disciplines concerned and train young engineers where necessary.Â
Analysing risks, uncertainties and opportunities.Â
Provide the most cost-effective solutions, taking account of contractual obligations,Â
Present the price sheet and basis of estimates for handover to management, using benchmarks, project data and methods.Â
Support the sales team in clarifying any price quotes, the project team in any clarification/presentation of the estimating process with customers or partners.

Your profile:
We would like to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements: you have experience in project engineering in the oil and gas sector. You have more than 3 years' professional experience in engineering, process and cost control in a leadership position. You are flexible in your way of thinking and acting, and rigorous. You are organised and have a systematic and methodical approach to your work. You enjoy working in a team and have good interpersonal skills. You are fluent in English and have a good command of Excel. Good to know:
