We are currently seeking a Financial Risks & Financing Solutions Lead F/M to join our team based in Nanterre/La Défense.

Within the Financial Risks & Financing Solutions Department, you will play a crucial role to support our tendering teams and our clients. Your main missions will be to
* manage financial risks related to contracts and proposals with clients/partners,
* provide support to clients for financing arrangement during proposal stage and until contract comes into force/financing is closed and
* provide financing advice/solutions to group entities and clients as required – especially in relation to energy transition financing issues.
You will report to the Head of Financial Risks & Financing Solutions and work closely with the Business Development, Legal, Estimation, Trade and Treasury teams as well as with Banks, Export Credit Agencies, Financial Institutions, Clients and Legal Counsels. This position does not include managerial responsibilities.
About your responsibilities
Within a team of 4 people, you will:
* manage financial risks related to contracts and proposals with clients/partners
* assess financial risks, make recommendations and set-up risk mitigation plan
* negotiate international trade banking and insurance instruments (including financial conditions and contractual terms) to get guarantees issued as per contractual requirements
* provide support to clients for financing arrangements during the proposal stage and until the contract comes into force/financing is closed
* provide financing arrangement support (project & export credit financing) when required by clients
* build and maintain in-depth internal and external working relationships to develop and maintain financing expertise and market conditions knowledge including with ECAs, Commercial and Investment Banks and DFIs.
* provide financing advice/solutions to group entities and clients as required
* provide expertise in structuring energy-transition-related financing/project structure
* provide advice and expertise to set up innovative financing structures according to market constraints and clients’ needs
* develop ad hoc simple financial models to assess potential investment opportunities and investment metrics (more complex models will involve our internal developer)
* assist project and business development teams in marketing financing arrangement expertise as a key competitive advantage.

To be successful in your mission you should consider the following requirements:
* Master’s degree in Finance from a top-tier business school, engineering school or other university.
* 5+ years of experience in an international financing environment (bank, corporate) – Experience in renewable financing is a strong plus.
* Knowledge of export & project financing processes and issues, banking products (structured finance, project finance, export finance, trade finance, commercial banking)
* Very good command of both French and English
* Good proficiency in Excel
* Analytical & synthesis skills.
* Strong personal and interpersonal skills:
You are autonomous, proactive, results driven with solid organizational and multi-project management skills
You have strong negotiation and anticipation skills, with a high degree of adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.
Cooperative and team focused, you communicate efficiently with many stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
