We are currently seeking a Senior Networks and Telecom Engineer (F/M), reporting directly to Head of Control System & Telecom Section to join our team based in Paris La Defense, France.

About your team:
Within the engineering division of Technip Energies' Paris office, you will report to the Instrumentation, Control System & Telecom Department.
With 60 years' experience in energy project design, the division is made up of 600 people representing all the disciplines present on our installations (>20).

You will participate in the engineering and design of projects carried out by TEN France for the Group's various Business Lines, decarbonized solutions (Carbon capture, H2, Wind), LNG or biofuels. On these projects, most of which are export projects, you will interface with teams from other disciplines within Technip Energies (project management, procurement, construction) as well as our mainly international partners.
You will be responsible for carrying out, managing and monitoring telecommunications studies, as well as supplying the corresponding equipment for international projects.
Your main tasks will be to:
* Develop philosophies, architectures and block diagrams for telecommunication systems (PAGA, CCTV, access control, LAN, etc.).
* Optimize costs, deadlines, design through technical choices and propose alternative solutions
* Draft technical specifications, subcontracting specifications, tender requisitions and purchase orders,
* Manage the entire procurement cycle for these systems (alarm systems, cameras, access control, radio and telephony, intrusion detection, satellite antennas, fiber optic communication network),
* Optimize resources on a project and assist the project in analyzing cost overruns.
* Propose and implement execution plans with vendors
* Coordinate and organize internal team meetings
* Assist and support specialists in technical decisions
* Organize and manage internal and external subcontracted studies,
* Verify documentation issued by team and subcontractors,
* Select technologies to be implemented,
* Organize and lead meetings with integrators, suppliers, customer and partners,
* Report to the Instrumentation Project Manager on planning progress, budgets and critical activities.
* Coordinate the implementation of factory tests with the inspection department,
* Assist on-site teams during the construction and start-up phases

Travel in France and abroad.

Profile:

* You are a graduate of an engineering school / Master's degree in telecommunications and networks, with at least 10 years' experience in oil and gas engineering.

* You speak English fluently and are mobile for short trips in France and abroad.
