In your role you will assist the Senior merchandiser & the Collection Director in the merchandising initiatives, and support market/region growth thanks to performance analysis and global strategy implementation (product & image).
Reporting to the Senior merchandiser (Sport), your role will be to develop your category through strategical GTM tools & initiatives.
1) Performance analysis & financial framing of the global offer :
For your category, you'll have a crucial position in the definition of the collection framing, performance/data consolidation & reporting
* Participate in performance analysis of the collection (sell-in, sell-out, colors, prices, tiering, etc.)
* Define, animate & follow performance KPIs vs. Growth targets
* Define SKUs plan & support the definition of the collections in collaboration with the product managers
* Consolidate & update forecast & RID in collaboration with supply & finance
2) Be the ambassador of the global product strategy towards markets and the voice of the markets towards global :
You are the gate keeper of the strategy communication & implementation within markets and help define local product assortment.
Merchandising strategy & guidelines :
* Consolidate markets feedbacks & needs based on hindsights data
* Ensure the communication of markets needs & priorities towards the Xfunctional team
* Define assortment guidelines (size, category…) for each region following consumer specificities & budget constraints
* Supervise & collaborate with the sales team to tackle specific channel needs / collection tiering
3) Go to market:
* Ensure the understanding of the global product strategy and support its implementation through efficient sell in tools
* Plan, animate & ensure regions overlap from a products POV & from a GTM tools POV
* Consolidate markets feedback to influence future collection
* Build, in collaboration with product managers, all the collection presentation tools (collection boards, PPT for key milestones):
