1. Product Strategy
- Defines the Strategic priorities for the Woven business (bottoms, outerwear and woven shirts) to drive image and growth in line with the Menswear trajectory business strategy.
- At brief stage, defines the seasonal key initiatives, the Fabrics & trims plan and the line plan.
- Defines the pricing strategy of his activity across the different product categories and monitors the upgrade & price stretching in collaboration with Merchandising
- Include in strategy the performance of key markets given by Merchandising
- Monitors competition performance analysis
- Coordinates with the Knit part to ensure the expression of the Lacoste Men Silhouette along the delivery flow
- Coordinates also with Womenswear and Sport to ensure consistency in offer, prices and silhouettes expressions in transversal capsules
- Coordinate the strategy and be the link with Development Platform: Strongly contributes to the Sourcing strategy, suppliers' network and seasonal suppliers' allocations with Operations.
2. Product Development
- Manages the Product development with his direct team composed of Product managers and works in tandem with Design & tech design at each milestone:
o Product definition and specification with Design
o Product development in direct contact with suppliers (sketch hand offs, fittings) with Platform and suppliers
o Line editing with the Design & Merchandising team
o Responsible for achieving qualitative and costing/margin objectives in line with the Pricing strategy
- Delivers 'ok production' products meeting the Product development process and deadlines in collaboration with tech design team
- Ensures the data system management in PLM at each milestone of the Product development
3. Collection monitoring
- Offer: Recommends the collection structure (ref, skus) of his activity every season in order to develop the business while monitoring the productivity
- Finance: Strongly contributes to the seasonal margin targets definition and monitors them throughout the product development and the tiering strategy
- Coordination & process: Proactive contribution to improving process, end-to-end calendar and internal tools to get optimum collection monitoring
- Communication: be the representative of the collection and ensure on-time communication on collection process with Sourcing and Platforms
- Monitor collection in line with Sustainability targets of Lacoste
4. Promotion of the product strategy:
- Process implementation to monitor all sample requests intended for sales sessions or internal presentations
- Presentation of the collections and the product strategy for the season to the markets in plenary during showroom sessions.
- Product strategy presentation to key stakeholders (sourcing, marketing, VM, Ecommerce, etc.) to provide key product initiatives consistency and benefits to push
- Preparation of sales support materials (presentations & videos) for satellite teams.
- Writing product titles and descriptions for e-commerce.
5. Management and coordination of a team
- Management of 3 persons
- Daily cross-management of the studio, product technicians, and platform sourcing managers
- Onboarding of the different Lacoste teams and suppliers on various projects
Profils
* Minimum10 years experience
* Flexible, autonomous, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrating rigor, dynamism, and a proactive attitude
* Cross-functional management: able to collaborate with different profiles, trades, and satellite departments. Having a holistic view of working with other categories of the collection
* Ability to take initiatives and prioritize work tasks
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Strong sensitivity for the product or the fashion universe
* Business-oriented, combining a curious mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving
