Your mission: As a Global Business Strategy Analyst Intern, you will be at the core of Lacoste's strategic decision-making process. Your role will focus on analyzing sales performance, inventory management, profitability, and market trends to provide actionable insights that drive the company's global strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and support the brand's long-term growth objectives.
Your main responsibilities include:
1. Sales Performance Analysis:
o Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data (sell-in and sell-out) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks on product categories.
o Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, margin, and sell-through rates.
o Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales performance and optimize product mix.
2. Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization:
o Analyze stock levels, turnover & sell-through to identify overstocking or understocking issues.
o Collaborate with supply chain and merchandising teams to align inventory strategies.
3. Profitability & Margin Analysis:
o Monitor and analyze gross margins by product category, region, and distribution channel.
o Help evaluate the impact of strategic decisions.
4. Strategic Business Insights:
o Collaborate with senior management to build reports, dashboard & presentations for the Executive Committee (COMEX).
o Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, on profitability, new product launches, new market entry, distribution efficiency, or digital transformation.
Profils
Profile:
* Education: Pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in business school, university, or engineering school with a specialization in strategy, finance, analytics, or management.
* Skills:
o Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
o Knowledge of financial modeling and business strategy frameworks is a plus.
* Qualities:
o Curiosity, rigor, and a results-oriented mindset.
o Strong communication and presentation skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
o A first experience in Business analysis, strategy consulting or finance, would be a plus.
